Thank you for considering supporting me and Torcon in the 2019 Go Red for Women Campaign!
We have all been affected by heart disease. One way to honor those affected by this devastating disease is by sharing a commitment to speak up, spread the word and support research. Though great strides have been made, we still have far to go. The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women Cause needs our help now, so that others have a chance to fight this silent killer.
This cause is so important to me and my family. My Dad suffered a major debilitating stroke in 2004, leaving him without speech or the ability to use his right hand. After 12 long years, he passed away in October. My mother was diagnosed with afib 3 years ago and battles daily with fatigue.
Most devasting of all, my younger brother, at 41 years of age, passed away suddenly in January. He had suffered for months with undiagnosed Hypertensive Vascular Disease. He went from doctor to doctor looking for help with his extreme fatigue, difficulty breathing, frequent swelling and weight gain. This missed diagnosis has taken my brother, left a widow and (3) children without a father.
As a 4th year member of the Executive Leadership Team for Go Red, I am asking you to help by donating to raise the funds for critical research and spread the word to your friends and community about making the right choices and taking action. You can help me raise funds and protect those you love by making a donation online.
